Some come to God for the free lunch. These are the materialists. Others prefer to follow rules – these are the legalists. There is another group who want to see a miracle in order to believe – these are the skeptics. But Jesus didn’t come to make us rich, not to make a new list of rules for us to follow. He was working out miracles but miracles were not the goal of His coming. He came because He knew that we all need the Bread of Life.
