Who is God for you?
Haven’t we “tamed” God according to our own understanding? When we reach Nehemiah 9, we see some quite different people. They entered the valley of sorrow for their sin and that was pleasing to God. In this sermon we are going to talk about the nature of true repentance. We will see that true repentance is caused by the Word and God’s work, it mourns over sin and acknowledges the terrible consequences of it
and finally, it trusts on God’s grace.
