Have you seen a two year old boy when he sees himself for the first time in the mirror? In the beginning he doesn’t recognize his face but in a moment he shouts: “That’s me!”

While Jesus is telling the Prodigal Son story he seems to hold a mirror in front of us. In the beginning we are thinking, “How many people do this!” But then suddenly it dawns on us, “That’s me! The same thing happened to me!”

Jesus thells a story which is actually our story. A story of amazing grace.
