Getting angry and wanting to get it back is as natural as breathing for most people. It’s so tempting to do it! Our natural reaction is to get even if we’ve been wronged. “We’re even now!”
It is in our nature to be quick to retaliate when we are insulted. If we are slapped, we should retaliate. And so we enter into a continuous cycle of revenge.
