We build up disciples, found churches and further the Kingdom.
Have you heard stories of people who lost everything but then managed to regain it?
David lost everything, but after he turned to the Lord, He helped him regain what he had lost.
After killing the Egyptian, Moses fled into the wilderness and thus lost his home, his position as a prince, and his future in Egypt, and lived as an unknown shepherd. But he later led the people of Israel to lead them out of slavery.
Another famous person, Steve Jobs, was fired from the company Apple, which he co-founded. He lost his position and influence. He started a new company, NeXT, which was acquired by Apple, and so he returned to become CEO of Apple, to create the iPhone and lead Apple to record success.
This reminds me of Job.He suffered many blows in life, lost everything – lost his family, lost his wealth, lost his health, even lost his home, but found refuge in God’s grace.
